School Consultation

Counselors provide schools with on-site and written consultation during the school year, thereby supporting teacher and supervisory staff with professional mental health services. Special student needs are identified and given individual case management and follow-up. Teacher strengths are also documented and encouraged through written evaluations in order to strengthen the overall value of this program that readies young children for success in school.
