The Youth Leadership Development program is funded in part by United Way and a grant from the GPOA Foundation. Drug prevention and education programs can have a significant positive effect on adolescents in curbing their use of drugs and in shaping negative attitudes about drug use. Leadership development at Family & Youth is one step in promoting self-respect and responsibility, leading to a healthy and responsible future without drug use. Teens participating in this component of the program will be educated about basic leadership skills. More information about Youth Leadership Development.
