Breaking news: Research suggests women are effective leaders for today’s world; yet comparatively few reach the top echelons!  Women start out with the same intelligence, education, and commitment as men….but somewhere along the way, they lose their way.

Or do they? Many do make it to the top. Many even lead better than men!

What drives and sustains successful female leaders?  What skills and resources do some women have that others will want to develop? And how can all of us become as self-confident and effective as the female leaders who make it to the top?

Do you have what it takes to navigate the path to leadership?  Please join Dr. Candis Carr to learn more and to discover for yourself what makes the biggest difference in defying the odds.

Children & Families Action Network (CFAN) members may attend for $10, and regular fee is $25.  Please RSVP by e-mailing Ann Bruner at Ann@fyca.org or by calling 337-436-9533.  Make all checks payable to:  Family Foundation of Southwest Louisiana. Registration is due by Monday, May 18, 2009.
