Current Status:

People who need assistance with hurricane related damages should register with the SWLA Storm Recovery Station (480-9911) at one of the following locations:

• Partners in Prayer for Schools (PIPS), 629 MLK (Hwy 14), 433-3456, 9-12 and 1-7, M-F, and Saturday 9-1.

• St. Luke Simpson United Methodist Church, 1500 Country Club Rd., 9-4 M-F.

• Moss Bluff United Methodist Church, Sam Houston Parkway, 9-4 M-F.

• Westlake United Methodist Church, 704 Johnson St., 1-3 Tuesdays.

• Wesley United Methodist Church, 423 Live Oak, Sulphur, 10-2 Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• Seniors citizens (60+) may register at the following Senior Centers:

• Lake Charles, 1530 5^th Street, 433-0805, Juanita McCray

• Sulphur, 601 Maple St., 527-4574, Judy Ashe

• Iowa, 506 N. Kinney Ave., 582-1592, Janet Figeuedo

• Westlake, 2001 Jones St., 426-6879, Della Lantz
