Smart Parenting Seminar (Lake Charles)— Abracadabra! Your son takes the trash out the first time you ask. Presto-chango! Your daughter remembers to pick up her clothes. Is it magic? No, it’s Smart Parenting! Learn how to actually get your child to do what you want them to do! Parents and other caregivers can learn behavior and discipline techniques that can change a child’s behavior at the Smart Parenting Seminar entitled “Is it Magic? Techniques for Changing Behaviors in Children” on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. Hosted by The Counseling Center, the seminar will take place at Family & Youth at 220 Louie Street, Lake Charles, and will cover praise and attention; rewards and privileges, 5-step method for increasing compliance; ignoring behaviors; and much more.
