It is the belief of Family & Youth that all individuals possess the ability to solve their own challenges and live full healthy lives when support is available. It is the mission of Family & Youth to provide affordable and professional support through programs and services dedicated to advocacy, counseling, and education for the people of Southwest Louisiana. Our effort and commitment to building family values will guarantee a stable and stronger community. 

The Leadership Center For Youth—Sulphur Open House

The Teen Advisory Council for The Leadership Center in Sulphur hosted an Open House Fun Fair on Saturday, April 1, 2006. The Council planned and implemented the fun day for the Sulphur community. Over 100 visitors participated! Activities included games, a pool tournament, karaoke and lots of food. The Sulphur Fire Department brought a fire truck for kids to explore and visit with the firefighters. Representatives from Kidmed offered education materials. A blood drive, in conjunction with Lifeshare Blood Center, exceeded expected donations. The weather was wonderful and the event a total success. Thank you to the Teen Advisory Council and all of the members who assisted that day!
