Be a Powerful Voice in a Child's Life  


Become a local CASA Volunteer and be rewarded with some of the most powerful and fulfilling experiences you can find. You will become a powerful voice in the life of a child.

14 new Court Appointed Special Advocates were sworn in by Judge Guy Bradberry in Family and Juvenile Court. These new CASAs join over 30 CASAs already trained and making a difference in the lives of the children they are appointed to speak for.

Sheela Mayes, Kathleen Ford, Carolyn Glynn, Rhonda Grady, Cecilia Hitt, Lisa Hunter, Linzi Koonce, Melissa Martin, Garrett Rozas, Cindy Surles, Becky Perry, Roger Templeton, Eric Vanover, and Beth Zilbert completed over 40 hours of training to prepare them to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children in the family court system.

CASA Volunteers receive extensive training, which enables volunteer to work with judges, attorneys and social workers, as appointed officers of the court. CASA's after review of records and personal interviews, report their findings to the courts and make recommendations to the judge regarding the best placement for the child.
