Dinner at Mi CASA
at the home of Sam and Denise Hebert
a Sophisticated Culinary Experience presented by

Coushatta

Sam and Denise Hebert graciously opened their doors to guests of Dinner at Mi CASA on Sunday Oct. 16, 2016. Guests were able to wander the beautiful lakefront property while leisurely enjoying various culinary creations provided by the culinary team of Coushatta Casino Resort.

Guest enjoyed dishes such as Stuffed Seafood Ravioli with creamy alfredo sauce, Speckled Trout Roulade, and Bread Pudding with Whisky Sauce. Throughout the evening participants enjoyed wine and beer pairings, while listening to light jazz provided by Mickey Smith and Morris Luciani. Guests were also about to bid on a painting created by Dwayne Paul DeRouen during the event.

All proceeds from the event go to benefit the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) division of Family & Youth. CASA volunteers speak in court for a child’s best interest. Judges appoint a CASA volunteer to an abused or neglected child who has been removed from his or her home. CASA volunteers helps to ensure that the child receives appropriate care and services, whether from a foster home or relative’s home while he or she is in the court system.
