Our effort and commitment to building family values will guarantee a stable and stronger community. Family Foundation of SWLA Mission The Family Foundation of Southwest Louisiana serves as the endowment and philanthropic arm of Family & Youth, connecting donors to the priorities that enhance the quality of family and community life for generations to come. The foundation believes that investing in families secures the future of our community. In addition, the Family Foundation of Southwest Louisiana promotes standards of excellence in the nonprofit sector, mission based advocacy and philanthropy.

Welcome to Family & Youth, serving Southwest Louisiana since 1970 is a not-for-profit, United Way, and community supported counseling organization, providing individual and family counseling services, business and industry support, and children's advocacy. Today, Family & Youth has expanded its staff and expertise to offer a wide range of constructive and life-changing services in the form of counseling, consultation and education. Family & Youth's primary location is 220 Louie Street in Lake Charles, LA between Lake and Ryan Streets.
